Copied from an original dress appearing on a French bebe of the 1880\'s, with stitched-down gathers giving shape to the loosely-fitted bodice. There is a 3\'\' wide gathered skirt ruffle and the coat style sleeves are edged with cotton lace to match the ruffled lace at the neckline. There is a wide ruffled collar and wonderful capalet sleeves. The collar, sleeves, and skirt are vibrantly embroidered in a red, green, and cream floral design with red scalloped edging. The dress is fully lined. To fit 21\" dolls. Overall length is 13 1/2\".
