Silver Plated Art Nouveau Cream Jug by James Dixon & Sons - VGC

Very pretty silver plated Art Nouveau style cream jug or sauce boat by James Dixon & Sons with an ornate rim, wide spout and handle formed from a pair of Arum lilies. With what appears to be an ornate 'EMA' monogram to one side, the piece has two stamped registration numbers and full maker's marks : Rd. No. 50734 to the handle and Rd. No. 191569 to the base. Measures approximatey 2 ¾ inches tall, 4 ½ across the spout/handle and 3 inches wide.

The jug is in very good condition with no apparent damage and little wear to the plate. It would benefit from a sympathetic clean with an appropriate silver polish prior to display/use.
