Silver Plated Pitcher with Quetzal Bird Los Castillo Taxco Mexico

The pitcher came from an sale and was described as a Silver Plated Pitcher, Taxco Mexico. The patina on this pitcher is beautiful. The handle is a quetzal bird which sits atop the pitcher. The bird is inlaid with stone or tiles. I have not cleaned this pitcher except for a little bit on the very bottom.

The markings on the bottom are “201” and what looks like “IECHQAMANO” but could be “HECHOAMONO”. And “Mexico” I believe it also reads “Los Castillo” and then “Taxco”

This item is guaranteed to be as shown. There is a small dent under the handle as shown in the last picture, a missing piece of stone on the tail, and tarnish.

Size approx: 11 ½” to top of bird, 8 ¾” to top of pitcher. Widest width 4 ¾”

Most of what I sell is inherited or comes from various estate sales.
