Silver oval vinaigrette with engraved floral design on the hinged lid and with a gilt interior and hingedgrill pierced as a curling leaf. The piece weighs .47 troy oz. and measures 1 5/16 inches across the box and 1 1/8 inches deep and 9/16 inch high. The box is not marked. Hand dot-engraved on the bottom in script \"C. Witt\". There\'s a tiny silver test cut mark on the edge of the base and a slight dent or irregularity on the top of the lid, otherwise in good antique condition.
