Here for sale is a really nice example of the popular Singer 222k portable sewing machine

This is the free arm machine where the sewing table can be quickly detached

Essential for quilting and embroidery on sleeves and denims

Complete in its original carry case and with a host of essential Singer accessories!

CONDITION:

In very good condition

Tested - in full working order

Collectors know that the gold decals are the tell-tale for how much use a Singer machine has had

This one has only minimal wear to the decals on the user side (where material has been pulled over the decals)

Yes it has been used - and there are some fine scratches to the mirror finish black paint of the work surface to prove it

But overall the black gloss enamel is very good for a machine of this age

And all the bright metal surfaces are shiny, clean and free from tarnishing

It looks well-cherished and is highly presentable

This machine has had light occasional use only

The motor is strong and quiet

And the working light shines brightly

Complete in original carry case (somewhat marked) with keys (rusty)

The case handle, locks, latches and hinges are all good
