Antique Sefer Torah Scroll.
Size and condition:
Parchment is 14 inches. The Torah is on Natural parchment
and very light weight. Torah weighs less than 4 pounds. Torah is overall in
good condition. The parchment, relative to its age clean and nice. The ink is
dark and without cracking.
Origin and date:
Torah is old Ashkenazic style writing, originate probably in
Germany. Torah scroll was examined and evaluated by world renowned scribe
Yitzchok Reisman from New York. Yitzchok reisman practice Safros for close to
50 years. He has been traveled the world to learn and to find rare old Sifrey

for his unique ability to recognize, date and originate old manuscript in an
accuracy that no one else can. The Torah Was in use by a synagogue in Israel
until recently.
Kabbalistic, strange letters and extra crowns:
This Torah has the very early tradition of strange letters
and extra crowns. According to the Kabbalah, there are many letters in the
Torah that should have curves and extra crowns. Few hundreds years ago for some
reason this tradition stopped. Those curved letters have a kabbalistic meaning
that we don't always know. Please look in the pictures below to see some of
those letters.
