Civil War Daguerreotype case, 1/2 only, with a note from wife or girl friend written on a piece of paper in the back of the case to explain who the picture was (but picture did not come with this case.No picture.Inside of the case has the below hand written message.
(Union Soldier, Corporal)\"Philo T. Peck from Company F, of the 2nd Regiment of Michigan Cavalry\".Signed at the bottom is the name Sarah H.Philo was wounded in action at Carter Station, TN, on 12/30/1862.
