This sale is a soft cover copy of a unique book titled "So I went to Japan". It was written by Alvin Grauer who was part of the Allied Personnel stationed in Japan after WWII. It is illustrated by his Japanese friend Yacco Takamori. An rare and interesting take on post war Japan. It was published in Japan in approximately 1946.

The book is readable however it did sustain some water damage at some point. It has a bit of a musty smell and you can see some evidence of water damage on the outside edges of the pages and on the front and back cover.
