So Rare! Spice Tin w/ Picture Label of Central Cascade 1904 St Louis Worlds Fair
DESCRIPTION: Payment by Mail is OK! This sale is for a very early scarce St. Louis spice tin that is called Cascade The can was distributed by Niese Grocery Co. of St. Louis. The label on the front of the tin has a picture of the Central Cascade that was in front of the Festival Hall at the Worlds Fair in St. Louis in 1904. The picture shows the magnificent fountain assembly that flows into the Grand Basin. The label is complete with some very light wear to the edges. A miracle it has survived all of these years. The tin is dark navy blue and it too is in very good plus condition. The tin measures 2-1/4" by 3-1/2" by 1-1/16". Just a wonderful addition to any tin or Worlds Fair Collection. I will ship outside of the United States by Registered Mail or First class International Air Mail.First Class International Air Mail will cost less, but you must recognize that First Class is not as safe as Registered Mail. I will ask you to tell me how to ship your item after purchase and also for you to verifyand accept responsibility for loss or theft. It is the only way I can protect myself from buyers claiming they did not receive the package. DO NOT offer on my items if you are not willing to accept these terms.
PAYMENT:In addition to PayPal I will accept other methods of payment should you so desire.
SHIPPING: I DO NOT try to make money on shipping. There are no handling fees. Also, keep in mind that we just had a massive Postal Rate Increase. Items I was shipping for $3.00 now cost me $ 4.75.I am now having to take items to the Post Office to determine the actual cost before even sending an Invoice. I am trying to keepthe cost down as much as possible. All items are shipped either with delivery confirmation or Insurance. All items are shipped by the US Postal Service unless we agree to something else, or an item requires to be shipped by ground transportation, then I use your preference. I do not ship everything by Priority Mail. If weight or size dictates Priority Mail then so be it. Otherwise, I will ship First Class Mail which is usually only a day later.
GRADING and CONDITION: I only list original antiques and collectibles. I believe you will find that my descriptions are accurate -- without embellishment. My condition rating system is: poor, fair, good, excellent or mint. Sometimes the condition has a modifier such as near, plus or very. I seldom list an item with a condition below fair plus. When condition is debatable, I try to understate the rating so that the buyer will always be satisfied. It is important to point out that I do not polish, buff, or repair any item I sell. Items are sold just as I collected them. It is my policy to leave all decisions to restore or repair an item to the new owner. Should I decide to sell an item that I have restored, I will tell you so in the description.
RETURN POLICY: If you are unhappy with a transaction, please contact me. If on the other hand, you are pleased with the results, please take the time to complete the response survey with the maximum 5 Star rating. It would be most appreciated. Another sale from oziskansas
