Here is a gorgeous and fine example of pottery from AnitaMeaders. Anita Meaders is from a longline of folk potters, whose work is both imaginative and creative. This particular piece is a large doublehandled jug, that is signed on the bottom “ Anita Meaders”. This large jug is decorated with grapes andleaf vine. This is a very prettypiece. The glazing is amazing with alarge range of colors from the natural flow of the glaze as it runs and breaksover edges. One of the handles wasdamaged at some point and has been repaired, which can be seen in photos 6 &7. There are no other chips or cracks.There is general crazing throughout, and some wear on bottom when Anitaremoved it from kiln shelf. This is avery nice example of her work.
The jug measures:
8 ¾”” from foot to top of handle.
6 ¾” in diameter at widest part of belly
