Soviet Army General Or Marshal Uniform Tunic Gold Button Orignl Early Type 1960s:
Button for Soviet General or Marshal tunic.
GUARANTEED 100% Soviet-made Original from approximately 1960s, not a recent replica.
Made in brass, with gold finish, approx. 24 mm (close to 1") in diameter. Stamped maker mark “Moschtamp” (Moscow Stamping Workshop) on the back. Domed construction; shows nicely detailed, sculptured Soviet state emblem which includes the hammer & sickle emblem covering the globe, the rising sun (symbolizing “hope and change”), and sheaves of wheat wrapped in scrolls (each of the scrolls represents one republic in the Soviet Union: note that there are 15 in total if you count the one in the center for Russian Federation). This button is far nicer than the buttons made in the 70s or 80s.
Correct for a full dress or service tunic of a Soviet General or Marshal of any branch of land troops or the air force. These buttons are HARD TO FIND!
In excellent condition, with completely intact gilt finish and free of dents or scratches.
Please note: although our photos show an example, the actual piece we send will be in exact same condition and of the same vintage.
