30s 40s Folk Art Deco Vintage Halloween Black Cat Children’s Chair

I believe this to be from the 30s or 40s, it may possibly be just a little later, but it is definitely vintage, not new. I also believe it to be American in origin.

Constructed of painted pine. The cat motif is stylistically reflective of the Art Deco period, age related wear and paint surface crackling is all correct for it’s age. The elliptical design at the top of the back emulating inlaid veneer appears to be a transfer decal.

I have done nothing to it, I have not cleaned it. Excellent all original condition, no touchups or repairs, age related minor wear as shown in a few places. Pretty spectacular overall given it’s age!

Dimensions: 19 inches tall by 13 inches wide by 13 inches deep, seat height is 7 1/2 inches.
