ITEM DESCRIPTION: We are offering a unique cast iron musical wind-up mechanical bank toy. Turn the crank on the side, and it plays "The Entertainer", by Scott Joplin. The drummer plays the drums, the fiddler plays the fiddle, or violon, and the base drum also plays from the floor. The mechanical action works, the fiddler's arm sticks at the down stroke, but a gentle nudge gets it working again. The paint is in great condition, may have a small chip or two. This measures approx. 7 1/2" tall, 6 1/4" wide, and 3 1/2" deep. Bottom is marked "Shephard Hardward 1897", and has a metal stopper to get your coins out.
