This is a great 1960s Mid-Century Modern credenza sideboard wall unit from Stanley Furniture in solid walnut and rosewood. It would work as a great china or display unit.

I have seen this same piece sold for $3,000+ on other sites over the years. This has a unique mid-century design within the wood. You’ll notice that the bottom doors have a beautiful wood grain within the rosewood marquetry. The unit is well-built, and features dovetailed drawers and square legs. The top display cabinet rests on a detachable cast iron base, allowing the unit to be split into two units for easier portability.

There is plenty of room for storage, including two top cabinets with sleek siding doors, two pull out drawers on the top unit, and three pull out drawers on the bottom.

The unit is in great original condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. It is missing the knob on the left door (see photo). Also there are four darkened marks on the top shelf. They are about four-five inches in length. The right sliding top door has a tiny stain – I don’t know if it can come out or not. I’m sure the right person could spruce this up even nicer and turn a profit on it – or just keep it for themselves to have a surefire show-stopping statement piece that will liven up any stylish home.
