Original Star Wars daily newspaper strip for Wednesday, July 2, 1980! Drawn by the great Russ Manning, assisted by Rick Hoberg, Mike Royer and others. This strip features Boba Fett and Luke Skywalker, plus Han Solo held captive by Snogars! Boba Fett only appeared for a little over a week in the entire Manning run of Star Wars, so there are very few of these strips! The art measures 14 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches tall, on 15 3/4" x 7 1/4" illustration board.It isin excellent condition, and is signed by Rick Hoberg. I am selling these strips on behalf of the Manning family, with all proceeds going to defray the cost ofMrs. Manning's medical care. These strips are hard to find, as most have stayed in the hands of the Manning family, and Russ' tenure on the strip was only a little over a year.
