Chauncey Jerome New Haven Conn. Steeple Clock Early 1800s Electricfied

We are listing a very early 1800s Chauncey Jerome steeple clock made in New Haven Connecticut. There is an original label inside listing the original seller. Paul fluks, practical watchmaker 616 S. 4th St., St. Louis, MO. This clock was originally weight driven and ran for 30 hours. The clock is been converted with a modern day electric motor for maintenance free ownership with a very classic antique look. In other words the clock has been marriaged together, the clock is a Shaughnessy Jerome steeple clock with the Waterbury clock co. dial and a modern day electric movement with a secondhand movement. The case is all original and made of solid mahogany and mahogany veneer. The picture on the bottom of the door looks like Martha Washington? There are small amounts of veneer missing, and the very tips of both finials have splinters off of them. The case itself has a patina to die for. We\'ve had the clock working in our office for several days and it keeps great time. Size is almost 20 inches tall by nine and three-quarter inches wide and 4 1/8 inches deep. This is a perfect clock for the under 35 group that like antiques, but not the upkeep of them. The electric cord is in great condition and ready to plug in your home. Look close at the pictures as they are part of the description.

Free shipping and handling in the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii are extra postage.
