STERLING ETUI!

I am very pleased to offer this antique, hand forged floral, egg-shapedETUI. This extraordinary piece is marked
\"sterling\" and is alsomarked with the symbol for the George W.
Shiebler & Co. which was founded in 1876 in New York.
It went out ofbusiness in 1910. Inside you will find a thread holder,
marked \"sterling\", it holds spools of thread and the
top comes off to hold needles.On top you will find alovely thimble (not
original).Around the edge isa silver ring with
the ORIGINAL black and silver stick pins.Removingthe thread
rodreveals a soft pink velvet on the bottom. This
surprisingly lightweight ETUI was designed as a chatelaine. Under
closescrutiny there areminute spots of wear from time on the inside, but they do not detract from the eye-catching beauty. This antiquesterling ETUI is inexcellent condition.
