This is the final edition.This is a summary translation of the 1st / main section: The People Declare The State of Israel on the 29th of November, 1947, the General Assembly of the United Nations passed the resolution authorizing the establishment of a Jewish state in the Land of Israel-so by reason of our natural and historic right, we hereby proclaim the establishment of a state in the Land of Israel, which is the State of Israel.The lower left hand corner is a picture of: First Temporary Jewish Government in its initial session as Directorate of the People. Sunday, the 9th of Nisan, 5708; 18th of April 1948. The sub-article on the right hand side: All of the White Paper Laws are null and void. All remaining, existing laws in the country stay in force by decision of the Temporary Council of State. The photographs in the lower right corner are of the following: D. Ben Gurion- Prime Minister, Chaim Weizmann-President, I. Greenbaum, and M. Shertok.The document has been framed between 2 sheets of plexiglass to float, without touching the plexiglass surfaces. There are some small tears on the perimeter. The original document measures 16 7/8" wide x 22 5/8" vertically. The heavy duty gold enhanced frame measures 25" x 31". There is some fading to the newsprint, as should be expected. Has been in cool dry storage for years, in a Southern California smoke free environment. There is some staining, that can be seen on the back side of the sheet. It can be seen in the 2nd, 6th and 8th photo.
