Beautiful Vintage Pendant by Norman Grant.
Sterling Silver entwined swans set into a silver surround, set onto blue/grey Montrose agate.
It measures 30 mm diameter, excluding the fixed bale, one and a quarter inches diameter. It comes with a rather nice curb chain which measures 50 cm, 20 inches long.
Unusually, this piece is not marked in any way - and it is a design I haven\'t seen before. It is a simpler version of the other Norman Grant pendants I have listed, I wonder if it may have been a trial piece. Certainly made by Norman Grant, it is an almost exact comparison to the other Montrose agate pendant. The two swans are entwined, and the head of one of the swans forms part of the fixed bales. Quite lovely.
This range includes the frog brooch listed, and the range is probably the most rare of the Grant designs. I have never seen this exact design before.
This design is quite stunning, the birds are very well cast.
Although made almost centainly forty years ago or earlier, it is in excellent used condition.
Will be sent boxed, although not an original box.I have stated postage within 2 days, but post most days, and can post Saturday if requested.
