This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver pig sugar box has been realistically modelled in the form of a sow.

This impressive and large sugar box is embellished with chased decoration reproducing the details of the pig’s skin, anatomy and facial features.

This antique Edwardian piece retains the original fully hallmarked push fit cover/head.

Condition

This silver pig sugar box is an exceptional quality, in exceptional condition and is an exceptional gauge of silver for its type.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the pig and part hallmarks to the sleeve of the cover are all very clear.
