This sterling silver thimble is a souvenir of the house in Philadelphia where Betsy Ross made the first U.S. Flag designed by George Washington. It is embossed \"Birthplace of Old Glory\" and \"Betsy Ross House\". The maker is unknown but it is marked Sterling and 12 for the size on the band. It\'sin excellent condition, with no holes and in round.
Note: Because these photos are greatly enlarged, any scratch or ding shows up more than it does in real life.
