This sterling silver souvenir spoon ca. 1899 had the approval of Mary Baker Eddy, and includes her likeness below the cross and crown at the top of the handle. The bowl shows the image of Pleasant View, her home in New Hampshire and the shaft has her signature. The back again has the cross and crown and below it the saying: “Not matter but mind satisfieth”. The marks show the mark for Durgin silver, and says “Sterling” and “patent”. This highly detailed spoon is 5 7/8” long and weighs 1 oz. It is in excellent condition with details very visible, with no dings, scratches or dents.
