It has been tested to make sure it works, and is set for a one- or three-way bulb. The cord looks original, but the socket has been replaced. Instead of the socket having an on/off switch, it’s actually a dimmer switch. It comes with tassles that someone added on. The base is 8” wide. The brass has a dark patina. There are some spots in the brass that are very dark, probably from reacting to something spilled on it. There are a lot of dark splotches around the top of the bottom edge. They are not as obvious as normal due to the dark patina of the rest of the brass.
