Straight Arrow Nugget Picture Ring Nabisco 1948-1950:
Straight Arrow was a radio show that began airing in 1948. A western hero similar to the Lone Ranger. Straight Arrow was a Comanche orphan raised by whites, who had a secret identity as Steve Adams, ranch owner. When trouble arose, he would race to his secret gold mine, where his Palomino horse, Fury, and his Commanche attire and weapons awaited him. Straight Arrow and Fury would rife out to combat whatever problems had occurred, be thye cattle rustlers endangered by rising flood water. The show was sponsored by Nabisco Shredded Wheat. In 1950 you could send in your photo, 25 cents and a Nabisco Shredded Wheat Box Top to get this gold nugget ring. They would superimpose your photo to look like you were there with Straight Arrow and his horse, Fury, in the secret golden cave. This ring has a lens and you can see a picture of the little girl with Straight Arrow. I cannot identify anything from the other side. a neat old collectible.
