Vintage Stratton Convertible Pressed or Loose Powder Compact, produced in England. Very nice engraved polished goldtone rose on brushed goldtone lid.
Measures 3\" diameter; 3/8\" deep when closed.
Excellent pre-owned vintage condition; Looks like new - Lovely brushed goldtone lid with polished gold embossed rose - Perfect framed mirror - Original thin Stratton puff has separated from signed top and another puff appears to have been added, which may be slightly stained; Powder screen and interior well appear unused - Includes original paper instructions for adding pressed powder tin - Hinge intact - Clasp closes tightly - Signed on base, Stratton, Made in England. PLEASE NOTE: Faded areas in photo of base are due to light reflection. You may be assured that all gold color is bright and intact.
