Stunning Antique French PARIS Art-Deco Chalkware Bust of a Beautiful Young Woman discovered at a Brocante in the heart of the Poitou-Charentes region of South West France recently and making a Fabulous French Shabby-Chic decorative item to enhance any setting or display.
This heavy piece which weighs 2,570 kgs unpacked, is Handcoloured and in very good condition considering age. There are minimal scuffs and knocks throughout-typical of this chalk medium but as the multiple photographs portray-nothing detracting in any way from this gorgeous piece-the majority of white marks you see is purely paint loss-easily remedied if so wished.The Majority of our customers prefer to leave as found!
She is dressed in a Stunning Irridescent off the shoulder dress gathered at the neck by a single button. Greens & Golds Shimmer against a natural paletter of smooth skin & tied-back hair with a wonderful pout finished with Pale Coral Pink lips. She displays a most beautiful expression.
Measuring 12.75 inches high and sits on an angular base of 11.25 x 7.25 inches dimension. Impressed marked on the reverse-CF (Copyright France) 684 PARIS.
