This is a quite superb painting, watercolour of the pigeon perched on a branch ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the early 19th century.

Dates about c1820s.

Signed by the artist: Mary Julia Hog.

Certainly of an English origin.

An artist with a fine hand which can be seen in the quality of the watercolour of the pigeon.

Max depth of about an inch.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is very good and is not subject to:

any major blemishes except due to age: areas of discolouring, foxing only.
