Extremely fine and rare silver and enamel spoon by archibald knox for liberty & co,it has wonderful enamels in shaded blues & greens which are typical of the art nouveau & arts & crafts period. The handle is quite faintly planished which is difficult to see in the picture. It is of superb quality and would have been sold through the liberty & co store in londons regent street as part of the cymric range. The spoon was produced by haselers of birmingham,these were the only silversmith making for libertys and produced the cymric silver ware range plus the tudric pewter range also,it carries the lion passant mark for sterling and the birmingham date letter i for 1908 and the WHH mark for the maker it measures 4\" long so tea spoon size,with no damage or repair the overall condition is very good with just a couple of spurs of light tarnish but no pitting or wear,please feel free to ask any questions and i will reply within 24hours,this is a genuine piece and should not be mistaken for the unmarked copies and reproduction items offered on .
