The holiday celebrates the Jewish people's exodus from Egypt. In addition, this abstract painting depicts how important of the Lulav & Etrog is in Jewish holiday Sukkot.....and the flimsy huts that the Jews lived in during their exodus from Egypt. I glued a quarter to the painting to represent the wealth that the Jewish people acquired in Egypt just before their exodus. CAUTION: ALTHOUGH I APPLIED SEVERAL COATS OF VARNISH ONTO THE PAINTING AFTER THE MAJORITY OF PAINTING WAS FINISHED, I DID DO SOME TOUCH UPS AFTER THE PAINTING WAS COMPLETED WITH SOME OF THE PERMANENT MARKERS WHICH CAN SMUDGE WHEN WET.
