Superb 19th C Early American Amethyst Glass Bell Jar

This bell jar is amethyst in color and has a nice form with a rolled rim. It dates from the mid to the 3rd quarter of the 19th Century and was possibly made by the Pittsburgh Glass Company. It measures approximately 11 + ¼ inches in overall height and 9 + 7/8 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition, as can be seen in the photos.
