This is a superb gothic wooden oak cross with the shield of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the 19th century.

Dates about c1880s.

Of a black forest origin.

This and others were part of a clearance of a church which offered many religious items of interest.

This is the last of the gothic crosses with numbers.

The crosshas an overall size of about 11.5 x 5.75inches.

Max depth of about 0.75inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to:

any major blemishes except:

rubbing to the number with a glue repair the the central stem.
