For sale is this magnificent Chinese pocelain plate with ladies (long elisa's) in a traditional Chinese garden scenery.
Beautiful high quality painting in bright shades of underglaze cobalt blue.

On the back of the plate is a rare Chinese six-character Kangxi mark within a double circle

The mark says:

"Qi Yu Bao Ding Zhi Zhen"

( "Precious as a treasured ding of rare jade" Kangxi period )

This mark is described and dated as above in Davidson's book

"New and revised handbook of Marks on Chinese Ceramics"
page 178 / mark nr. 2534

Age:

Kangxi Period: 1644 - 1722

Diameter plate 20,8 cm

condition:

Very Good.

Just a little bit fritting, one very small 4mm flat chip on the backside and one 44mm hairline from the rim

Not restored, No Cracks!
