Here for your considerationis a magnificent and extremely rare, Art Deco, circa 1930s, Oriental silver, stamped 950, multi coloured, rectangular card case, designed in the shape of a book, depicting two delightful external and internal landscape scenes of snow topped Mount Fuji in Japan.
Atruly stunning piece of workmanship, with makers hallmarked signature to the rear.Considering thiscard caseis 85 yearsold it's in beautiful original condition, with no splits or repairs. The case does have some age related silver patination/wearand internal light surface scratching, commensurate with its 85 years of age, but nothing unusual.
