This is abeautiful 1933, Clarice Cliff, Art Deco, Bizarre, Alton (green) pattern, 463 match holder/striker,hand painted, withexquisite stylisedcastle turrets, partly hidden by a bushy hillside, colourful flowers, and oak leaves in tones of brown, real strong vibrant colouring,This onebeing manufactured byNewport PotteryLtd, England.

The base of this match holder/striker has all the black script Clarice Cliff distinct markings and guaranteed 100% genuine.

Condition .... No chips, cracks, fleabites ordamage, tiny amount of glaze staining as shown in my photos, commensurate with its 81 years of age, nothing unusual. Just a very nice piece of Clarice Cliff pottery.
