Up for purchase is a top quality piece of rare, untreated amber from the region of Jambi, Sumatra (Sumatera), Indonesia witha beautiful sky blue color and interesting, tube like formations of creamy color that extend through it when natural sunlight is shining on it. The piece has a window polished while the remainder is in the rough as mined and is highly translucent. What resulted in these tubes forming? Perhaps the same volcanic activity that resulted in the islands that make up Indonesia.

The color may vary depending upon how sunlight is striking it also.
