SEA Glasbruk was founded in 1956 in the Småla glass empire Kosta. SEA Glasbruk has a long history in traditional Swedish glass design and has for several years been characterized by Sweden's leading designers. The name SEA was obtained by merging the first letter of the surname of the three new owners: Inge Samuelsson, Sven Ernstsson, Tore Andersson. By the same token, the name Kosta had come into existence almost 200 years earlier. Eystein Sandnes made similar vases in Norway for Magnor glassworks in the 50s. Glass artist Börne Augustsson from Åseda glassworks in Sweden made vases, lamps and decanters in the same technique in the 1960s.Please study the photos as these form part of the listing detailsPlease check out my other listings for more Vintage Art Glass From across the WorldHadeland, Holmgaard, Norwegian, French and Scandinavian Glass a speciality
