This sale is for what I believe to be a vintage Sasha doll. First let me say that I am not an expert on Sasha dolls—in fact, she is the first Sasha doll I have actually seen.

Sasha is blonde with bangs and long hair. Her hair does not appear to have been cut and is silky. Her eyes are blue. They are muted in color (not bright and slick looking like so many dolls), but after looking at lots of pictures, that appears to me to be the way Sasha dolls are made. Please look at the pictures. Her skin tone is Caucasian with a tan

Sasha is approximately 16 inches tall. Sasha is not marked. I have read that having no mark means that she was made in England. She has a navel which tells collectors something about when she was made. I also checked her stinging cords and the one for her arms is white in color and the one for her legs is brown. I found her preowned, so I can’t tell you for sure that her stringing is original. She seems to be strung tightly, and she can stand alone.

The only other thing I see to mention about her is that her left arm does not fit exactly in the arm hole. You can see this in the pictures of her with no clothes. I don’t really know why it does this, but I believe that the hook stringing her may not be in exactly the right spot in her arm. I don’t want to mess up her stringing, so I’ll let you adjust it.

She is wearing what I believe is a replaced outfit which consists of overalls and a shirt. These are not vintage clothes, but look cute on her. This Sasha doll is adorable. Sasha dolls have a unique look and I can see why collectors find them so charming. This little girl would make an excellent addition to your collection.
