A word about shipping Collectible Back Issue Magazines:
Our United States Postal Service regional directors cite postal regulations that indicate Back Issue Magazines DO NOT
qualify for the Economy Shipping (USPS Media Mail) service -- so we must use the Priority Mail service, which is considerably more costly.WE STILL OFFER FREE SHIPPING ON ALL (domestic) ORDERS.
We pay the shipping and 1- to 4-day delivery is expected.
We routinely combine multiple orders into one box.
For our International Customers we use the fast and accurate Global Shipping Program --
a third party bulk shipper at reduced rates; customer must pay the usual customs WE GRADE MAGAZINE CONDITION:
(With apologies to Overstreet Trading Guide for our slight condensations.
At the end of each paragraph we\'ve included in parenthesis the probable
comparable Overstreet comic book and magazine grade.)AS NEW/EXTREMELY FINE: Prestine; perfect. (Pristine)FINE: Clean & glossy; tightly bound; no mailing label; not quite perfect
but almost. (Mint/Near Mint)NEAR FINE: Above average; may have a mailing label; may have one very minor flaw,
a curled corner, small crease inside; perhaps carefully read a couple times; above
average. Desirable. (Excellent/Excellent Plus)VERY GOOD Plus: Average; light gloss; obviously read but not abused; no significant flaws, just \"used\" to the eye. (Very Good/Excellent)VERY GOOD: Probably has a substantial flaw or a couple minor flaws; agetoned text;
stress lines; still nice. Still collectible. (Very Good)VERY GOOD Minus: A couple substantial and noticeable flaws, perhaps cover
endsplits and/or small staple tears; not terrible but \"off\" enough to merit close inspection
for more problems not readily apparent. (Good/Very Good)GOOD: Appears rather beat up; perhaps some binding problems, but text is complete
and all pages attached; soiling, a stain. A wrong thing, a \"filler.\" (Good)FAIR: Beat. Binding loosened, substantial closed tears, open tears permitted in margins
only; cover creases, soiled. (Fair)POOR: Tears, loose pages, covers missing but text apparently complete; heavy soiling
or stains; bad. The worst. (Poor)A Fair or Poor item needs some redeeming feature to merit being offered for sale or
trade, such as considerable scarcity, scarce and historically significant, etc.
