The secret is simple. It's the quality! The worst feeling you can get fishing (besides getting seasick) is hooking into a big fish and then losing it on the way up. These rigs are tied using only the finest quality materials and knots. The clevis is a folded clevis which does not scrape or fray the line and all the hooks are snelled by hand, not with a machine or tool.The snell knot is the best way to attach line tohook. It puts the least stress on both the hook and the line to insures a strong break resistant rig.Don't lose another big fish to poor craftsmanship. Each rig is hand tied with 3 feet of clear 40# mono leader line. The hook is a 3/0 Gamakatsu shiner hook. Attached to the line will be 2 beads and a #3 nickle plated Colorado spinner blade. Also, between the hook and the squid you will see another bead. This bead is important and you won't find this bead on any other rig you buy. This bead prevents the squid from being pulled down overyour hook and making the whole rig worthless. Again, years and years of fishing experience comes along with these rigs.
