Very, very dark purple with multi-colored iridescence and STIPPLED on a thin collar base. In the 29 years that we have hunted and collected carnival glass, from carnival glass conventions to major carnival glass sales to visiting other collectors and seeing their glass, we have seen one other and know for sure of one more purple STIPPLED Peacock's plate besides this one. The rarest of the rare. This is your chance to own the rarest birds known! This piece and the next two are right out of our own personal collection. Positively no chips, cracks, fractures or repairs. Guaranteed to be as described. All vintage carnival glass has flaws like straw marks/aka shear marks, bubbles in the glass, tool marks, ash in the glass, dye runs in the glass which are all common in old carnival glass and never to be considered as damage. All flaws, if any,will be described in the description of the piece.
