The books are in acceptable condition. 2 of the exterior and 2 interior bindings are torn. I found 3 ripped pages at the front of two books. There is yellowing on the pages and discoloration on the exterior of the paper (see photos).

These 5 volumes include 80 of Poe\'s writings and color illustrated plates at the front of each book.
