TICKET BOOK FOR 1893 CHICAGO WORLD'S FAIR (WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXHIBITION) RARE!
You are offerding on an 1893 Chicago World's Fair Ticket book! This item is being sold by a private collector.
The ticket book provided one day entry to the ticket holder after August 1, 1893. The man's name was Ray (last name is hard to read) and represented the Hill Cart Co. Ticket book #35736. Upon opening the book is a picture of Ray and the date stamp.
There are no tickets included.
The World's Columbian Exposition (the official shortened name for the World's Fair: Columbian Exposition, also known as The Chicago World's Fair) was a World's Fair held in Chicago in 1893 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus' arrival in the New World in 1492. The iconic centerpiece of the Fair, the large pond of water, was there to represent the long voyage Columbus took to the New World.
This item comes from a smoke-free home and is in excellent vintage condition.
