For sale is a vintage tin friction 1959 Cadillac hardtop car made by Bandai of Japan. The car measures 12 inches or 30 centimeters long and it is nearly complete and very close to original. (The two red plastic taillights are missing and the front and back window \"glass\" is not original; it is a nice redo.) Also, there is a small piece of the original steering wheel missing. The car is in good, played with condition. The black paint with green interior is very striking and it is in good, all original condition with no paint touchups.. The front and sides of the car has the best quality paint; the top and trunk areas have some crazing in the paint. The surface of the tin has a very nice gloss with some small scratches and chips in the paint. The chrome trim is bright and shiny for the most part. There are some small areas where the chrome trim has darkened a little but overall the chrome trim is in very good condition. The tires and hubcaps are in nice condition and the base is in good shape. The friction motor doesn\'t work in forward but it does work fairly well in reverse. This is an interesting car, it displays very well; its whole is better than the sum of its parts. It would also make a great parts car or it could be restored to a better quality car than it is now. I have had this car for a long time and I like it the way it is, not perfect by any stretch but a beautifully designed tin friction Cadillac with some signs of wear and some character picked up along the way.
