Up for sale with is the finest quality and largest Victorian Sterling Silver Mustard Pot I have sold in years. The Mustard Pot features a nice Victorian form with incredible etched designs and excellent footed design. The Pot also features a nice Dog Armorial on both sides. The Pot is a very large and impressive example measuring 3-1/2" tall by 4" long across the handle or 3-1/4" wide across the body, one of the largest I have seen. The Mustard Pot is fully Hallmarked on the base for the fine period Silversmith Robert Hennell III, London England, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter for 1855. The Mustard Pot is in really excellent all original condition overall with no large dents, cracks or repairs. The Pot even has a Blue Glass Liner, that appears to be the original. The Pot has a quality weight of 109 grams, not counting the insert. I am sure this will be a rare addition to even the most advanced Mustard Pot collection and the new owner will love it as much as I do !
