You are offerding on this largeciderset consisting of a pitcher and four cups made by Tressemans and Vogt Limoges, France.It is decorated with handpainted juicyred apples still on the tree over a pale yellow to orangeand red background. The pitcher has raised beading on the handle. No chips, hairlines orsigns of wear.All four cups have the T & V mark and the pitcher has a faint word (illegible) that is possibly another maker. It was not uncommon for a decorator (many were housewives engaging inpainted porcelain as a hobby)to pull blank pieces from different manufacturers to make/paint a complete set.

Privately acquired from the localestate of a ceramics collector. It has been treasured as a cabinetset for as long as they can remember.
