This is for a beautiful and very rare little Georgian fob spyglass from around 1810-1820. It is a tiny little spyglasses, one of the smallestyou can findand its fully working with two draws that pull out. It is a well made little piece, the metal is gilded brass with ornate decoration and a row of turquoise stones set into purpose made claws around the outer edge. It is in excellent condition for its age with no damage to it anywhere, both the draws pull out smoothly and it focuses and works fine, there are none of the originallittle turquoisestones missing and it displays beautifully. It has a small integral loop for fixing it to a châtelaine or chain and it measures 26mm just one inch in diameter !!! and is 18mm back to front when closed and 32mm (1.25") when extended.
