Two Nikon S3 Bodies. A Special Pair Consecutive Serial Numbers & Very Early:
ThisisaVERY SPECIAL PAIR OF NIKON S3 RF BODIES. Not only do they have CONSECUTIVE SERIAL NUMBERS, but those numbers put this pair in the very first batch of 300 S3s ever made. And these are from the first 100!! Putting together consecutive items like this is the goal of many a collectorand usually takes years. But these two are also significant since they areso early. They are cameras 6300056 & 6300057, the 55th & 56th produced back in 1958! Both cameras are in EX condition with good chrome & leather. I have tried to show any obvious wear or marks.Focus is smooth and the findersare bothclear. No fog. The shutters appear accurate at all speedsto my eyes and ears but I cannot guarantee accuracy. Even the selftimers work correctly. The perfect pair for any Nikon RF collection. These very same 2 cameras are pictured in my book on page 142.
