Here are two lovely sterling silver needle or cheroot holders. They each measure57cm long and 1.25cm wide.
EACH NEEDLE CASE OR CHEROOT HOLDER IS: It is made from sterling silver. The top is removed by pulling it off. The exterior is decorated with floral chased decoration. It also has a suspension ring or a ring mount so that it could have been hung as a pendant from an Albert chair or from a housekeepers chatelaine.
EACH bears a full set of English silver hallmarks:
Lion Passant: indicates 925 purity silver (sterling)
Anchor: the town mark for Birmingham
Letter I: date letter for 1908
FW: makers mark for Francis Webb
