***Offered is an 11 book lot featuring many/most of the early appearances of the Mandarin including his first appearance in Tales of Suspense #50. The lot features some terrific art by Gene Colan, Don Heck, George Tuska, and Jack Kirby plus several others. There are also two extra TOS comics in the lot. The set includes: Tales of Suspense #50: First appearance of the Mandarin (I’d grade this comic at about G/VG to VG-, some wear and some signs of staple rust); Tales of Suspense #61 G/VG; Tales of Suspense #62 G/VG; Tales of Suspense #74 VG- (no Mandarin app.); Tales of Suspense #76 VG-(Mandarin in Iron Man, 1st Batroc the Leaper in Captain America story); Tales of Suspense #78 VG (Ultimo & Mandarin in IM story, 1st meeting w/ Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD for Cap); Tales of Suspense #85 VG/F (Mandarin Cover, classic battle w/ Batroc in Cap story); Tales of Suspense #96 VG+; Iron Man #10 F/VF to VF- (Mandarin C); Iron Man #57 & #58 (both nice F/VF to VF-); Incredibale Hulk #107 Fine-; Incredible Hulk #108 VG+ (Hulk battles Mandarin in both). This a very solid set of books with no missing pages, coupons, or Marvel Value Stamps.


I try to keep shipping charges at a minimum to reduce buyers’ costs. I gladly combine shipping charges for winners of multiple lots. To put it plainly, you win 4/5 lots, your total shipping charge would be the shipping price for the largest single lot won- if you have a US residence. (For example, buyer wins an 80 book lot, a 14 book lot, a 5 book lot and a single comic lot. The buyer would only pay shipping for the 80 book lot. However, if you require special shipping circumstances, I'll charge the exact shipping only. I am not able to absorb additional costs such as international shipping fees, express mail, insurance, etc. If you, need something ASAP, next day, etc., you'll be required to pay for those services since they can be expensive. I also do not charge a handling fee, and I will ship everything with a tracking number. Payment is due at the close of the sale.

Grading: If I am aware of any restoration or significant damage, it will be listed in the item description. If you have any concerns with the quality of the books when you receive them, simply return them, and I will issue you a refund. I do not refund for items returned after 7 days from when they were received.
