Texaco Fire Chief - Rare Original 1947 Porcelain Pump Plate - 12" X 18" -grade 9 For Sale

Here's a fantastic older pump plate dated 3-10-47 and wearing its original Texaco Fire Chief porcelain finish. With no more than (4) smaller chips around the grommets and a couple very small marks on the face as shown in the pictures, this sign makes and excellent candidate for a growing wall collection or a date correct pump restoration. Being of an earlier date than many found on , this sign would make an excellent front for the doors of a Wayne 60, Wayne 70, Bennett 541, Gilbarco 96 or Tokheim 39 pump done up in Texaco. The field is "Excellent" on this sign and judging from the back, it was not used for very long as it's as close to mint as I've seen one for a 1947 pump plate.
Sign will be well packed between hard board and shipped insured for it's full value using Expedited Postal Service. Buyer to pay full shipping costs determined by actual location.
